ChelPipe Group Launches New PPP Solutions in Vocational Schools
17 July 2019 (11:18)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 17, 2019. ChelPipe Group presented the first results stemming from a series of new private-public partnership solutions implemented in the Group-supported vocational schools at Innoprom 2019 International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg, the company’s press service reports.
Since 2001, the Group has been involved in the PPP project the Future of White-Coated Metallurgy Corporate Training Program in Sverdlovsk Region, Chelyabinsk Region, and Tatarstan. The program relies on a dual education model, with 40% of the study time dedicated to learning the theory and 60% of the time spent practicing at the Group’s hi tech production sites and modern labs. The vocational training model created over the years can now get transferred to a number of industrial one-employer towns all over the country.
In 2018, the Group also launched a pilot project to set up a management company for Pervouralsk Polytechnic and Pervouralsk Metallurgical School; the idea is for the company to take over tasks like developing new approaches to efficient skilled blue-collar worker training and designing employer-oriented training courses.
This year, ChelPipe Group-supported Pervouralsk Metallurgical School will also be the first vocational school to introduce digital platforms (promoted by Sberbank’s Charity Foundation) within the framework of the Future of White-Coated Metallurgy Corporate Training Program.
