EVRAZ ZSMK Team Wins 11 Gold Medals at WorldSkills

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 3, 2019. EVRAZ United West Siberian Metallurgical Plant’s (EVRAZ ZSMK) team proved the absolute leader at EVRAZ Holding’s WorldSkills championship, winning gold medals in ten out of twelve categories, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s Corporate Communications Center’s PR Department reports.
More than three hundred workers and experts from EVRAZ’s six large enterprises (EVRAZ United West Siberian Metallurgical Plant’s (EVRAZ ZSMK), EVRAZ Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ NTMK), Kachkanarsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise, Raspadskaya Coal Comapny, EVRAZ Vanady Tula, and EvrazTekhnika) took part in the competition.
The contestants competed in twelve different categories: Mechatronics, Welding Technologies, Wiring, Chemical Lab Tests, Sheet Metal Treatment, Nondestructive Testing, Mobile Robotics, CAD Engineering Design, Mobile Robotics, Engineering Design, Reverse Engineering, and Job Safety. The last three categories got introduced for the first time this year.

Following the corporate round of the competition, EVRAZ team will get set up to take part in the National WorldSkills Hi Tech Championship in Yekaterinburg on October 28-November 1.
