UrBC, Chelyabinsk, June 19, 2019. ChelPipe Group’s Rimera Oilfield Services’ Rimera Service NTsTB is now working on a new five-year contract with Gazprom Neft’s Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz.
According to the Group’s press service, under the terms of the contract Rimera Service’s experts in Noyabrsk and Muravlenko will do repairs and maintenance of 33,000 pumping and compression pipes for Gazprom Neft on a monthly basis. This means the overall amount of pumping and compression pipes the Group sells to Gazprom Neft every year will reach as much as 1,500,000 units, whilst the Group’s share of Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Region and Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Region’s market will rise from 16% to 19%.
In order to meet its contractual obligations, cut down on shipping costs, and reduce the prime cost of the produce, Rimera Service expanded its production facilities on sites in Muravlenko and Noyabrsk. The pipe-cutting equipment got upgraded, the pumping and compression pipe washing unit got given an overhaul, and new automated equipment (a non-destructive testing unit and coupling appliances) got installed at production departments. Additionally, as the company has to meet the customer’s energy-saving requirements, Rimera Service also optimized its heat supply system and water spending/discharge and switched fully to LED lighting fixtures.
