UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 13, 2019. MegaFon, Intel Corporation and ICS Holding’s YADRO signed a technological partnership agreement in order to work on innovative infrastructure products together, MegaFon’s press service reports.
The memorandum of intentions was signed by head of ICS Holding and Chair of the BOD at YADRO Anton Cherepennikov, MegaFon’s Director-General Gevork Vermishyan, and Vice President of the Data Center Group/Sales and Marketing Group General Manager at Intel Corporation Rose Schooler.
‘We’re delighted that MegaFon will now work with ICS Holding’s YADRO to develop and produce new Intel technologies-based infrastructure solutions relating to the 5G network, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and end devices. This will help create useful and usable services for business customers and state-owned customers on the basis of MegaFon’s digital platform, Russia’s largest digital ecosystem. The innovative technologies we’ll rely on will be used to create the services compliant with the most advanced international technological practices. Doing business with the world telecom and IT market leader will result in obtaining the infrastructure needed to implement MegaFon’s strategy and will reinforce our position on the digital-services-for-business-customers market,’ MegaFon’s Director-General Gevork Vermishyan said.
The parties intend to start working on the project in the third quarter of 2019.
