Rosprirodnadzor Approves ChelPipe’s Environmental Projects

UrBC, Chelyabinsk, June 3, 2019. The Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage (Rosprirodnadzor)’s Chelyabinsk Region division officials paid a visit to Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe), ChelPipe Group’s press service reports.

‘ChelPipe’s Managing Director Evgeny Gubanov, Head of Rosprirodnadzor’s Chelyabinsk Region division Vitaliy Kuryatnikov, and Head of Project Office at Clean Air Federal Project Alexander Vlasov met to talk about the potential acid waste water filtering facilities at ChelPipe and about the initiatives the company takes on as part of the National Environment Project,’ the press service says.

Rosprirodnadzor offcials went to the plant’s Vysota 239 Department, the flagship site for ChelPipe Group’s Future of White-Coated Metallurgy Program that makes large-diameter pipes. The department relies on very advanced environmental solutions that meet all the existing Russian and global environmental requirements.

‘We can see in the course of these meetings that ChelPipe Group remains the country’s environmental protection leader. The Group’s White-Coated Metallurgy departments use the most advanced environmental solutions that meet all the existing Russian and global environmental requirements. The company directs millions of rubles to the purpose every year,’ says ChelPipe’s Managing Director Evgeny Gubanov.

This year, the Group will invest some RUB 880 million in a range of environmental protection programs.
