UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 24, 2019. Yekaterinburg’s District Akademicheskiy will take part in the all-Russian Double Happiness event for the first time this year, RSG-Akademicheskoye’s press service reports.

‘We expect several dozen families living both in the district and other parts of Yekaterinburg to take part in the event. The idea is to provide a platform where parents of twins and triplets can meet offline and share their experience, and where the children can meet and play,’ says Akademicheskiy local and mother of multiple children Inga Shchukova, who originally suggested joining in.

There will be a parade, a soap bubble show, prize-winning contests, games, a cryo show, face painting, and much else besides. Many of the entertainers at the event are going to be grown-up twins.

The event will take place in the square between School 16 and School 19 at 5 PM on May 26 and
is open to everyone.

The district developer RSG-Akademicheskoye also says Double Happiness celebrates the district’s 10th anniversary as well.
