4 April 2019 (09:15)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 4, 2019. EVRAZ Holding, the Social Investment Foundation, and the town councils of Nizhniy Tagil, Kachkanar, and Mezhdurechensk are working on the Children’s Foresight Project together, the holding’s press service reports.
There are several stages to the project. So far, foresight sessions got coordinated for teachers and students of participating schools in Nizhniy Tagil and Kachkanar in early March. The Foundation’s experts gave talks on how to develop and implement urban improvement projects.
Thanks to these projects, Nizhniy Tagil might soon get art-themed entrances, art corners in clinics and hospitals, and equipped playgrounds in parks and school yards. The schoolchildren are also planning to organize interesting activities (classes and workshops) for pensioners, work on art inclusion projects for people with disabilities, and focus on much else besides.
The projects will get presented in May: the students will make project presentations for town mayors, business community members, the Department of Education, and EVRAZ management. In the future, their projects will get implemented, and the most proactive participants will be able to come to Artek International Children’s Center for the Agency for Strategic Initiatives’ special summer camp stay. Throughout the entire Children’s Foresight Project’s duration, there will also be workshops, seminars, and personal efficiency training sessions by Russia’s leading experts.
The project will close in December with a series of town festivals where the participants will be able to present their projects’ outcomes.
