Sverdlovsk Region Government, SKB-Bank Sign Cooperation Agreement

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 28, 2019. Sverdlovsk Region Government and SKB-Bank signed a socioeconomic cooperation agreement; the paper was signed by Governor Evgeny Kuivashev and Chair of SKB-Bank’s Supervisory Board Denis Repnikov, Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policy Department reports.

The agreement dwells on the way the two parties will interact in dealing with Sverdlovsk Region’s vital socioeconomic issues. The key partnership areas are: loans and funding for projects and programs that Sverdlovsk Region runs to support production industries and quality banking services to local residents (including loans and all-in-one banking packages).

‘This agreement is a follow-up on our long-standing partnership with the bank in the field of supporting Sverdlovsk Region’s economy, ensuring financial stability, and dealing with social issues. Our cooperation is a good example of how the constituency keeps improving its public-private partnership policy to introduce higher living standards in the area,’ Governor Kuivashev says.

Now the earlier cooperation agreements between Sverdlovsk Region Government and SKB-Bank resulted in the bank financing dairy plants in Irbit and Alapayevsk, which boosted the development of both the two plants and the towns where they are located. A number of socially important projects in the field of children’s and professional sports, culture, healthcare, and cultural heritage got implemented as well.
