MegaFon Supports All-Russian BreakPoint Forum in Yekaterinburg

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 27, 2019. The all-Russian BreakPoint Forum for young IT leaders took place in Yekaterinburg this week; MegaFon acted as the nationwide digital partner of the event. More than two hundred Yekaterinburg students attended the forum, the company’s press service reports.

The event’s agenda covered 18.5 hours full of communication and experience-sharing, talks by dozens of experts, and a series of workshops. The experts, for one, talked about the current market trends, IT career prospects, and the reality of working with Big Data, 5G, and the Internet of Things.

BreakPoint proved a communication platform for students, tech experts, and members of business community alike; this was also a place for experience-sharing and interaction with the opinion leaders. Dozens of experts, including the ones from HeadHunter, MegaFon, and Mail.ru, made their presentations.

MegaFon’s tech experts spoke about the many uses of 5G technologies, the IoT, and Big Data analysis which already helps shape the company’s pricing policy, choose the best locations for base stations, and expand MegaFon’s business customers’ enterprises.

Our technologies are already being used to create Smart Cities; we are working on 5G network and record-setting data transfer speed; and we are using our Big Data resources on a daily basis. We certainly need young, talented minds to help us with these grandiose projects,’ says MegaFon Sverdlovsk Region’s Director Inna Dzhur.
