UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 19, 2019. EVRAZ Holding and the Moscow-based Gruppa Tovarishchei Production Studio are going to create a children’s movie called A Danger-Free Town. The movie will focus on safety rules applicable in urban environments and will be run on the Russian television channel Carousel International and other children’s channels starting in May.
According to EVRAZ Holding Ural’s PR Department, the production team will start working on the thirty-minute film in the Urals this April. Students of Nizhniy Tagil and Kachkanar acting schools will be featured in the movie along professional actors. The characters will talk about what to do if a stranger tries to kidnap you, how to avoid drug dealers, and whom to ask for help if you get lost.
Renowned Russian teachers and qualified psychologists Lyudmila Petranovskaya, Dima Zitser, and Robert Tuykin, as well as a number of security experts, will all contribute to the making of the film.
‘By teaching our children about safety now, we are building a foundation that will be useful for many years to come. The movie will instruct the kids on how to stay put, identify a dangerous situation, and understand what consequences their actions may have. We hope the film’s young audience will learn these simple rules and will follow them in the future, both at work and in everyday situations, and will routinely pay attention to their own safety and the safety of their families. This will be especially relevant if some of these children follow in their parents’ footsteps and come to work at our member enterprises,’ says EVRAZ Vice President and Head of EVRAZ Holding Ural Denis Novozhenov.
