ChelPipe Group Shareholder Andrei Komarov Takes Part in Russian Investment Forum in Sochi

UrBC, Moscow, February 18, 2019. ChelPipe Group’s shareholder Andrei Komarov took part in the plenary session (Success Factors: Ideas, People, Skills) of Russian Investment Forum in Sochi. The session was chaired by Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev, the Group’s press service reports.

Government officials, experts, and members of the business community, including Governor of Perm Territory Maxim Reshetnikov, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives’ Director-General Svetlana Chupsheva, and Rector of Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO Marat Atnashev, talked about their plans to work on the key projects on Russia’s strategic development. For one, they focused on the National Education Project. Dmitri Medvedev pointed to the importance of practice-based education programs and called for more involvement from the businesses operating in the real sector.

Andrei Komarov spoke about the education and training programs ChelPipe Group has been running for the last few years: the company now has a highly efficient cadre-training and continuous professional education system within an industrial one-employer town. Komarov also thanked the Russian Government for supporting the recent changes in the Fiscal Code that made it possible to write dual education cadre-training expenses off as profit tax-exempt production costs.
