FGC UES Upgrades Electric Mains in Tyumen Region

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 28, 2019. Federal Grid Company United Energy Systems (FGC UES) had its 220-kilowatt electric mains in Knyazhevo-Zavodoukovsk section in Tyumen Region reconstructed, FGC UES Western Siberia’s press service reports.
The mains got reinforced with four new supports that came to replace the worn-out ones. This 220-kilowatt Knyazhevo-Zavodoukovsk Main is located between Tyumen Region’s District Yalutorovosky and District Zavodoukovsky and is involved in power transit from Tyumen Heat & Power Station 2 to the south of Tyumen Region.
Special-purpose off-road vehicles had to be employed to deliver the new supports to the site.
220-kilowatt Knyazhevo-Zavodoukovsk Line is 62.45 km long and got launched in 1989. The electric main gets used to supply electric power to 1.5 million people in the south of Tyumen Region.
All in all, FGC UES replaced five electric main supports and had twenty-seven more supports remounted on new foundations in Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Region, Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Region, and Tyumen Region last year.
