UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 21, 2019. The overall amount of MegaFon Ural’s business customers’ international traffic rose by 10% in January 2019 compared with one year earlier, the company’s press service reports.

Since the start of the year, local business people have visited 125 different countries, including such popular exotic locations as Tanzania, Jamaica, Oman, Kenia, Madagascar, Guadeloupe, and Honduras (the top seven destinations for MegaFon’s subscriber this year so far).

Thailand was the country where MegaFon registered the greatest amount of Internet traffic (roughly the equivalent of 200,000 emails in the last thirty days).

‘The number of locals who went abroad in the first week of January was 33% larger than that of those who left before New Year. Compared with one year earlier, our business customers’ Internet traffic went up by 10%. We can now offer our business customers our World Online Package for price-savvy online communication abroad, and considerable discounts on international calls with our Business Trip World Package. There’s also the roaming package for those willing to make calls at home network prices when traveling,’ says MegaFon Ural’s Corporate Business Development Director Inna Smirnova.
