UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 26, 2018. Ural Airlines operated their first flight from Moscow Region’s Zhukovsky Airport to Kazakhstan’s capital Almaty and then the Almaty-Zhukovsky one on December 24, 2018.

According to the air carrier’s press service, there were a number of special celebrations both on the way to Almaty and back.

‘Passengers flying to Kazakhstan’s largest city had a welcome ceremony and could have some tea and cake at the airport terminal; the first passenger to check in for the flight also received some souvenirs from the airport,’ the press service says.

Zhukovsky-Almaty flight is a direct one and available daily at the moment and five times a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) starting January 15. There’s a special price offer on Zhukovsky-Almaty-Zhukovsky flight as well, with prices starting from RUB 8,305 (one way) and RUB 17,271 (round trip).
