Koltsovo Airport Welcomes 6,000,000th Passenger (on Ural Airlines Flight)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 24, 2018. A passenger flying with Ural Airlines proved the 6,000,000th customer of Yekaterinburg’s Koltsovo Airport. Anastasia Shamshurina was flying from Yekaterinburg to Mineralnye Vody (flight U6 305), the air carrier’s press service reports.
The solemn awarding ceremony took place at Koltsovo International Airport on December 21. Upon reaching Terminal A, Ms Shamshurina was greeted by the airport and the airline representatives and received a free flight voucher: this can be used to get to any location Ural Airlines fly to and to get access to Koltsovo Airport’s VIP lounges throughout the next twelve months.
This is the first time in the airport’s history that as many as 6,000,000 passengers have flown to and from there. Ural Airlines, both Yekaterinburg’s and Sverdlovsk Region’s key air carrier, have already broken last year’s record and had more than 8,000,000 people fly with them in the first eleven months of 2018. By the end of the year, over 9,000,000 passengers are expected to have used the airline’s service.
