MMK Industrial Park’s current premises are a ready-to-use, 65 hectares large facility with all the engineering infrastructure on hand. ‘The park got certified by Russia’s Industry & Trade Ministry, which means investors can enjoy the tax benefits of a zero property tax and a 3.5% drop in the local income tax,’ MMK Industrial Park’s Director Vladimir Dremov said at a recent off-site meeting of MMK Supervisory Board.
The site keeps welcoming new residents: six new companies registered with the park in the ten moths of 2018, over 26,000 m2 worth of production areas got rented out, and forty-eight new jobs were created. Two anchor tenants were found, and two investment proposals have been put together, one to set up an agricultural vehicle production facility, and one to make cast-iron ingots for the car parts industry. 40,000 m2 worth of production areas got rented out altogether, which amounts to 57% of all the space available, and 206 new jobs have been created thus far.
