UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 3, 2018. The project for a medical cluster in Yekaterinburg’s District Akademicheskiy is now the focus of both national and international potential investors, RSG-Akademicheskoye’s press service reports.

The project was presented at a reputable professional platform within a medical investment forum on November 29.

The forum was held at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University Congress Center in Moscow. The event covered topics like new biotech developments, new clinics and unique technologies, and the use of public-private partnerships to finance medical projects.

District Akademicheskiy’s prospective medical cluster was the key feature of a report on Public-Private Mechanisms of Cluster-Type Structures. The project was also discussed during a session on investment policy in the non-capital federal constituencies. According to all the discussion contributors, the medical cluster could prove a successful and rather innovative public-private partnership project in the healthcare sector.
