Sverdlovsk Region: 46% More Loans Get Issued

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 1, 2018. 338,59 loans (total amount: RUR 71.22bn) got issued in Sverdlovsk Region in the third quarter of 2018 (up 46% on a year earlier). This makes Sverdlovsk Region Russia’s No.3 constituency in terms of loan-issuing activity, United Credit History Bureau reports.

The overall money amount of consumer loans that are over RUR 100,000 large and over 2 years long rose by 61% in Sverdlovsk Region last year and reached RUR 34.97bn. The average loan amount in this category comes to RUR 329,000.

The overall money amount of consumer loans that are under RUR 100,000 large and less than 2 years long (including POS loans) dropped by 22% in Sverdlovsk Region last year and reached RUR 2.89bn. The average loan amount in this category comes to RUR 27,000 (-1% on a year earlier).

‘The number of newly issued smaller consumer loans has been going down in every part of Russia,’ the Bureau says.

As for mortgages, their overall money amount went up by 43% and reached RUR 21.01bn. The average loan amount in this category comes to RUR 1,868,000 (+5% on a year earlier).

The overall money amount of car loans rose by 42% compared with last year and reached RUR 4.38bn. The average loan amount in this category comes to RUR 766,000 (+16%).

The overall money amount of overdraft limits on credit cards went up by 51% in Sverdlovsk Region last year and came to RUR 7.73bn. The number of newly issued credit cards went up by 34% and came to 105,990 units. The average loan amount in this category comes to RUR 73,000 (up 13% on a year earlier).
