EVRAZ Holding Among WorldSkills Hi Tech’s Top 3 Winners

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 31, 2018. EVRAZ Holding’s team was one of the top three finalists at WorldSkills Hi Tech Championship in terms of the number of prize medals: the team won two gold ones, five silver ones, and three bronze ones. Team players from EVRAZ Holdings West Siberian Metallurgical Plant (ZSMK) won prizes in eight categories out of twelve, the Holding’s PR Department reports.

‘The junior team also did very well. Contestants from Novokuznetsk-based Meridian Children’s Tech Arts Center Grigory Chekushin and Makar Mukhin both won silver; seventh-grade students of Nizhniy Tagil School 49 Maxim Cherdnikov and Danil Chadov won bronze,’ the Department says.

As for EVRAZ Holding’s team, Vladimir Butlevich, Artem Kazantsev, and Alexander Yunyshev all won gold in Sheet Metal Treatment, Mobile Robotics, and Mobile Robotics, respectively.

The silver medals went to Andrei Kvast (Industrial Automation), Ilya Matinin (Nondestructive Testing), Alexei Bogdanov (Wiring), and Alexei Virigin, Yulia Susova, Razia Gvozdeva, and Natalya Semenova (Engineering Design).

Maxim Ignatov and Artem Churakov won bronze in Mechatronics and Sergey Nagibin in Reverse Engineering.
