Ural Airlines’ Passenger Traffic Up 15%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 12, 2018. 6,999,739 people flew with Ural Airlines between January and September 2018, which exceeds the figures for one year earlier by 14%, the air carrier’s press service reports.
3,880,528 passengers flew on domestic flights in these nine months of the year; 1,837,489 people flew internationally; and 1,281,722 people traveled to or from the CIS member states. The airline operated 47,242 flights altogether (up 13% on the year 2017), including 26,480 domestic ones, 11,766 international ones, and 8,996 flights to and from destinations in CIS member states. The company’s passenger turnover rose by 15% and amounted to 16,764,499,000 passenger-kilometers.
As for the month of September, the airline offered its services to 977,931 passengers last month (up 10% on September 2017). 530,704 passengers flew on domestic flights; 273,890 people flew internationally; and 173,337 people traveled to or from the CIS member states. The airline operated 6,206 flights altogether (up 7% on September 2017), including 3,467 domestic ones, 1,593 international ones, and 1,146 flights to and from destinations in CIS member states.
Flights from Moscow to Simferopol, Anapa, Sochi, and Kaliningrad enjoyed the greatest demand among domestic travel options. Flights from Moscow to Barcelona, Larnaca, and Tel Aviv proved the most popular international ones.
