14 September 2018 (09:27)
UrBC, Magnitogorsk, September 14, 2018. MMK Group’s MMK Trading House expects to sell more than 250,000,000 kg of metal goods on Kazakhstan market by the end of the year, the Group’s press service reports.
Director of MMK Trading House Kazakhstan Vadim Tishchenko said at the Central Asia Metal Market International Conference 2018 in Almaty on September 13 that Kazakhstan was the first country to get the company’s foreign mission. This has to do with both the country’s geographical proximity to Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK), whose goods the company deals in selling, and with Kazakhstan’s rapidly developing, metal goods-consuming economy.
MMK Trading House’s first branch got opened in Astana in August 2014.The company has been selling increasingly more metal goods on the local markets ever since: the sales figures tend to double every year. The company also set up new branches in Almaty, Pavlodar, Karaganda, and Shymkent in 2015-2018. MMK Trading House Kazakhstan now runs five warehouses with over 45,000,000 kg of metal goods in them.
The metal goods on offer are mostly fittings, hot-rolled produce, and coated metal goods. The highly durable and wear-resistant MAGSTRONG steels are among the company’s latest offers; the steels are suitable for making and repairing construction equipment, quarry machines, and mining equipment, and can be used in other industrial fields as well.
