UrBC, Magnitogorsk, September 11, 2018. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) is starting its local round of inter-plant experience-sharing workshop for managers and repair technicians in the metallurgical sector, MMK’s press service reports.

This Magnitogorsk stage of the workshop is meant to round up the series of workshops for metallurgical enterprises’ employees involved in equipment maintenance and repair.

The seminar participants went to Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works and NLMK-Ural in Revda earlier. This particular workshop gathered together more students than ever: some fifty people all in all, who come from repair shops of Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works, Chelyabinsk Integrated Metallurgical Works, Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works, Novolipetsk Integrated Metallurgical Works, PAO Severstal, AO Koks, Oskol Electro-Metallurgical Works, and other companies operating in Russia and Ukraine.

Workers from Chermet Corporation, which has been coordinating these experience-sharing workshops on a quarterly basis since 2000, also attended the event.
