EVRAZ Holding Coordinates Grant Contest in Nizhniy Tagil, Kachkanar

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 5, 2018. Applicants based in Nizhniy Tagil and Kachkanar, Sverdlovsk Region, are invited to submit their grant applications for EVRAZ Holding’s social projects contest starting September 15, 2018. The company intends to direct RUR 6.5m for the grant funding, which is actually more than in the previous years.
According to EVRAZ Holding Ural’s PR Department, the contest is open to non-profit NGOs, city-run and private educational, medical, and social establishments; culture and sports organizations; groups of locals and private individuals (as long as their application gets backed up by a non-profit or a municipality-run organization).
‘The projects can fall into eight traditional categories: children’s and youth’s education/recreation; job counseling; environmental events, tree-planting, yard/park improvements, sports playgrounds, recreational areas; healthy lifestyle; culture and arts; family values; children’s rights protection; cultural/historic heritage and environmental tourism; support of the elderly and of people with disabilities; and smart digital technologies,’ the company says.
A successful grant application must prove its high social and environmental relevance and practical efficiency.
