European Investor Comes to MMK Industrial Park

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, July 10, 2018. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK), Chelyabinsk Region’s Investment Development Agency, RusFoundryConsult, and the Czech Republic’s SEEIF Ceramic, a. s. signed a cooperation agreement during Innoprom 2018 International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg.
According to MMK Group’s press service, the agreement was signed by MMK Director-General Pavel Shilyayev, Chelyabinsk Region’s Investment Development Agency’s Director Alexei Bobov, RusFoundryConsult’s Director Maxim Sudakov, and Director of SEEIF Ceramic Tomáš Stoszek.
‘The agreement covers a number of joint projects to set up hi tech refractory application production facility on the premisses of MMK Industrial Park, which is expected to diversify the one-employer town’s economy, create new jobs, and attract investment. RUR 680m will be invested in the new facility to ensure 150 new jobs for the locals,’ the Group’s press service says.
