UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 25, 2018. The entrance section of Clinic 32 in Zarechny, Sverdlovsk Region, will undergo a large-scale renovation, Beloyarskaya Nuclear Power Station’s Information & PR Department reports.

The renovation jobs are part of the Lean Clinic Project coordinated by Rosatom State Corporation and Russia’s Federal Medico-Biological Agency; the project touches upon the cities and towns where Rosatom operates its nuclear power facilities.

The goal is to ensure the clinic’s more efficient performance, cut down on patients’ waiting time, streamline the patients more effectively, and make getting an appointment easier.

‘A wheelchair ramp will be built at the entrance for people with disabilities and wide steps with rails for people on crutches and low-mobility patients. The entrance canopy will also get reconstructed. All of this will be particularly useful for older patients and families with children,’ the press service says.

Beloyarskaya Nuclear Power Station directed its first tranche (RUR 10m) to the clinic in the spring.
