UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 21, 2018. Thirty additional CCTV cameras got installed in Yekaterinburg in time for the World Football Championship days. The cameras got connected to MegaFon’s fiber optic lines, the telecommunications provider’s press service reports.

The entire video stream gets delivered into both the local and the nationwide operation centers online.

These highly sensitive cameras (viewing angle: 360 degrees) got installed at sports playgrounds in Festivalnaya St, Dagestanskaya St, and Krasnoflotsev St, in Mayakovsky Park’s fan zone, and on rooftops of buildings and MegaFon’s masts in Lenin Ave, Malyshev St, and Moskovskaya St. Additionally, a web camera got installed at Koltsovo Airport.

The company engineers set up high-speed channels to ensure stable online data transfer in HD quality from all the connected devices. Thanks to these enhanced-capacity channels, the video signal gets through with very high precision. The entire monitoring system is also hacking-protected. The Federal Operation Center can now track the situation in Yekaterinburg at 600 Mb/sec online.
