UrBC, Magnitogorsk, May 30, 2018. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) is taking part in the 3d International Metallokonstruktsii 2018 Exhibition, the company’s Information, PR & Advertising Department reports.

‘The company is presenting its highly durable and wear-resistant MAGSTRONG steels. The steels can be used for making metal structures. Their mechanical properties ensure enhanced abrasive wear resistance and impact strength; the steels are highly weldable and treatable and expand the metal goods’ lifespan considerably in comparison with the conventional materials. This means longer time between repairs and fewer idle times, less metal spending, and impressive savings. MAGSTRONG steels are used for making and repair of construction vehicles, mining appliances, and other special-purpose vehicles, as well as for load-bearing metal frameworks and in other fields,’ the Department says.

The 3d International Metallokonstruktsii 2018 Exhibition takes place on May 29-June 1 at Moscow’s ExpoCenter. The exhibition is dedicated to a wide range of production issues, the application of metal structures and metal goods in the industrial sector, and to designing buildings with steel and aluminum solutions. 125 companies are taking part, including metal structures and metal goods manufacturers, light gauge steel framing makers, and equipment and technology suppliers. The agenda covers over fifteen different events: conferences, seminars, round table discussions, and master classes. Around 3,500 employees and managers of enterprises within the metal industry are expected to visit the exhibition altogether.
