UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 25, 2018. ChelPipe Group and SAP CIS signed a memorandum on digital cooperation during Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Group’s press service reports.

The paper was signed by ChelPipe Group’s Director-General Boris Kovalenkov and SAP CIS’s Director-General Natalia Parmenova. Chair of ChelPipe Board of Directors Andrei Komarov and SAP President for Central & Eastern Europe Stefan Höchbauer were also present.

The memorandum lays out the Group’s plans on the company’s digital transformation. Under the terms of the paper, the company intends to unify and intensify its business processes with the help of a single SAP S/4HANA-based system in 2018-2025.

‘Digital transformation is an indispensable part of the Group’s strategy for the next seven years. the goal is to obtain a number of new competitive advantages through automation and re-engineering of our business processes, as well as to optimize spending, improve management efficiency, and strengthen our technological leadership in the pipe-manufacturing industry,’ Kovalenkov said.
