UrBC, Magnitogorsk, May 10, 2018. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) Mekhanoremontny Kompleks took part in the 22nd International MiningWorld Russia 2018 Exhibition in Moscow, MMK Information, PR & Advertising Department reports.

‘This is the first time Mekhanoremontny Kompleks took part in this exhibition. Visitors to the stand could take a look at one of MMK Group’s largest companies’ production potential and have their questions answered in every detail by our tech and commercial teams,’ the Department says.

According to MMK representatives, visitors took a special interest in the company’s products made from wear-resistant MAGSTRONG steels that are particularly suited for the mining and processing industry. MMK’s highly durable and wear-resistant MAGSTRONG steels are fully comparable in every parameter with their foreign counterparts. Their mechanical properties ensure enhanced abrasion resistance, impact hardness, and good weldability and machinability; these steels also ensure the end product’s greater lifespan (compared with the conventional steels) and therefore longer time between repairs, less idle time, and metal savings. MAGSTRONG steels can be used for manufacturing and repair of special-purpose vehicles, construction and mining appliances, ore processing equipment, shaft sinking equipment, and loaded metal frameworks, and much else besides.
