UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 26, 2018. EVRAZ Holding is coordinating its fifth annual Safety Week at the company’s Ural and Siberian enterprises on April 16-22, 2018, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s Corporate Relations Center reports.

EVRAZ Holding Ural’s and EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s job and industrial safety champions received thank-you letters from the company president Alexander Frolov in recognition of their contribution to the company’s safety culture growth.

EVRAZ West-Siberian Integrated Metallurgical Works and Raspadskaya Coal Company coordinated a special I Choose Safety event, where employees pledged to adhere to work safety regulations, had their special pictures taken, and received special gifts.

‘This Safety Week is an opportunity to bring up vital topics not only among the company employees but also among the locals of Novokuznetsk and Mezhdurechensk. EVRAZ representatives cooperated with the road police officers to check the traffic situation next to the company’s production sites. Drivers and pedestrians were pleasantly surprised to get light-reflecting vests and flickers as presents. The traffic rules event was also coordinated right on the sites,’ the Center says.
