23 April 2018 (11:53)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 23, 2018. Ural Airlines are getting ready for the summer season 2018 and keep expanding their fleet of vehicles. A new Airbus (VP-BIH) is now the company’s 45th liner, the air carrier’s press service reports.

There are 220 Economy seats on board. This new Airbus A31 will be used for both international and domestic flights.

The airline intends to expand the overall count to forty-seven airplanes in order to make sure a larger number of passengers can fly where needed.

The European concern Airbus’s liners proved highly efficient and very comfortable for mid-range hauls. Ural Airlines and Airbus have been partners for over a decade now; we also had a larger number of per-day flight-hours on Airbus planes than any other Russian airline last year. Our average amount was 12.71 flight-hours a day,’ the press service says.
