UrBC, Magnitogorsk, April 13, 2018. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) is now taking part in the 18th International Ural Industrial Economic Week and in the 10th International Industrial Forum dedicated to breakthrough technologies in metallurgical and machine-building sectors, MMK Information, PR & Advertising Department reports.

Both events are held at Chelyabinsk International Trade Center on April 10-12. MMK is the Southern Urals’ largest enterprise and can thus present a very wide range of metal goods on its exhibition stand. The plant’s representatives are also contributing to the industrial forum discussions on the funding of industrial enterprises, Russia’s engineering practices, innovations and import substitution, and industrial cadre training.

Introducing digital technologies at industrial venues proved one of the forum’s key topics. The International Conference on Digital Technologies for Industrial Sector was coordinated during the event, with Siemens AG, Metran Group, SMS Group GmbH, Paul Wurth S.A., Primetals Technologies, and other companies sharing their experience with the others.
