Innoprom 2018 to Feature Yekaterinburg EXPO 2025 Application

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 10, 2018. The 9th International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom 2018 in Yekaterinburg will feature Sverdlovsk Region’s stand dedicated to two major topics, Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policy Department reports.
The first part of the exhibition will present the ‘smart region’ concept (that is, digital technologies), the second one will feature Russia’s application for hosting EXPO 2025.
According to Sverdlovsk Region’s Investment & Development Minister Viktoria Kazakova, the ministry is currently processing applications submitted by local companies that are working to introduce ‘smart technologies’ in the medical, transportation, and urban improvement sectors.
The International Innoprom 2018 Exhibition will be held at Yekaterinburg EXPO on July 9-12. This year’s theme has to do with Digital Production; this year’s partner country is the Republic of Korea. The Russian-Chinese EXPO will be coordinated alongside the Innoprom Exhibition at Yekaterinburg EXPO.
