UBRD to Set Up Service Ecosystem

2 April 2018 (09:33)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 2, 2018. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) is launching a new strategy for its online banking service development. The bank will introduce a fully functioning service ecosystem for private customers by 2020, the bank’s press service reports.

The primary idea is to switch to a completely new approach to remote/online-based services, to ensure personal communication with a customer, and to offer tailor-made products that meet a particular customer’s specific needs. Throughout 2018, when the first stage of the project is to be in progress, the bank will polish its current online banking system to perfection and will then switch to new software; in 2019 and 2020, this new software will serve as the basis for a full-fledged ecosystem.

Updates are already being introduced: a new format of an online bank statement was made available in March. In addition to displaying the primary data (transactions involving registered credit/debit card accounts), the new bank statement also provides detailed information on cash-bask bonuses and the customer’s spending patterns along Healthcare, Beauty, Clothing & Footwear, Sports Goods, Plane Tickets, Telecommunication Services, and Groceries.
