MMK Supplies 2,000,000,000+ kg of Building Materials to Bashkortostan

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, March 30, 2018. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) drew up a report on its partnership with the Republic of Bashkorstostan, MMK Information, PR & Adverting Department reports.

‘Bashkortotan and MMK have a long history of economic and social connections. In 2016, the two parties signed a bilateral cooperation agreement. About two years later, the time has come to look into this cooperation to see if it proved efficient. A round table discussion on the topic was contributed to by MMK Social Programs Senior Manager Yegor Kozhayev, MMK Prospective Development Department’s leading expert Marina Korneva, and MMK Children’s Health & Education Center’s Director Svetlana Tulupova. The event was attended by the permanent representative of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Chelyabinsk Region Amur Khabibullin and Chair of Quriltai Magnitogorsk Azamat Akhmetkuzhin,’ the Department says.

The two parties’ goods turnover kept steadily rising throughout the last two years. Nearly RUR 300m worth of produce got delivered to MMK and more than 2,000,000,000 kg of building materials (including the ones for building roads) got supplied to Bashkortostan. The two parties’ cooperation in the social sector proved particularly fruitful. Early this year, a group of Bashkortostan delegates paid a visit to two children’s health camps in the constituency.
