Ural Airlines’ Passenger Turnover Up 20%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 19, 2018. Ural Airlines came up with a performance report for the first month of the year. 566,605 people flew with the airline in January, which exceeded the figures for one year earlier by 20%, the air carrier’s press service reports.
The airline operated 4,234 flights on January 1-31, 2018, including 2,375 domestic flights, 949 flights to and from the CIS member sates, and 910 international flights. The number of flights operated last month was 17% larger than in January 2017. Passenger turnover amounted to 1,367,799,000 passenger-kilometers, which exceeded the figures for a year earlier by a quarter.
Ural Airlines’ flight frequency factor also improved in the course of one year and came to 92.7% in January 2018 against 87.4% in January 2017.
Additionally, Airbus reports Ural Airlines also proved No.1 A 320 operator (in terms of daily amount of flight-hours) among Russian air carriers in the year 2017. The company’s flight-hour ratio came to 11.49 hours a day, which means the airline’s Airbus liners were put to highly efficient use.
