MMK Charity Fund’s Budget Comes to RUR 700m This Year

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, February 8, 2018. Metallurg Charity Foundation (mostly sponsored by Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works/MMK) adopted their budget proposal for the year 2018, MMK Information, PR & Advertising Department reports.
‘As always, the fund will focus on social support for people in retirement, people with disabilities, multiple-children families, and children with disabilities. This year, we’ll keep all the charity programs such as Care, Ray of Hope, 21st Century for the Southern Urals’ Children, Magnitka’s Talented Children, Maternity Care, Close-Knit Family, and others. The funding provided for the year comes to RUR 697.4m,’ the Department says.
The foundation also adopted an events program for the first half of 2018. Two large-scale performances will take place at S.Ordzhonikidze Culture Palace on the eves of Defender of the Fatherland’s Day and International Women’s Day, with 1,800 long-service employees attending. Metallurg will also hold six public meetings dedicated to the foundation’s performance in 2017, to which residents of Magnitogorsk, Agapovsky, and Kizilsky are all invited to come.
Besides, shows and concerts will be organized for Magnitogorsk locals at local government buildings and schools in February and March.
