UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 31, 2018. Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) Chair of the BOD Andrei Komarov and Gazprom Chair of the Board Alexei Miller met for talks in Saint Petersburg, ChTPZ Group’s press service reports.

The two parties spoke about the prospects of ChTPZ supplying its pipe produce onto Gazprom pipeline construction sites.

‘We looked into the pricing policy for 2018, given the new market situation and the fact that international suppliers for our Nord Stream 2 are to go through with all the necessary shipments in the first quarter of the year. This means ChTPZ Group can rely on its experience and its trusted partners to work more efficiently with the suppliers. The idea is to use CIF parity of piping produce and materials as the basis of our pricing policy in 2018. We also talked about mastering a range of innovative products (laser-beam welded pipes and joints),’ the press service says.

Last year, ChTPZ Group supplied over 560,000,000 kg of pipes for the new pipelines of Nord Stream 2 and the Power of Siberia as well as for the reconstruction of Gazprom’s existing pipelines.
