UrBC, Magnitogorsk, January 31, 2018. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) decided to buy five studio apartments for the young doctors working for Magnitogorsk Central Medical Unit 1 Polyclinic, MMK Information, PR & Advertising Department reports.
All the five doctors are young women who’ve been working for the clinic for one to three years so far. The keys were handed over to Marina Lozhkina (radiologist), Gulnora Dzhabborova and Svetlana Bayeva (ophthalmologists), Elena Lapina (endocrinologist), and Azalia Salakhutdinova (physician). According to head of Medical Unit 1 Marina Shemetova, these are all very promising doctors who have already proven highly professional and hard-working.
‘MMK’s social welfare projects wouldn’t be complete without some focus on Central Medical Unit 1. The plant makes special efforts to take care of its workers’ health, as well as of that of their families. Our employees are our most valuable asset, so making sure they stay healthy is our social policy’s top priority. We know how hard it is to attract and retain highly skilled medical professionals into the area, and how much it costs. Polyclinic 1 is our plant’s basic outpatient unit, with doctors in charge of diagnostics, prevention, and treatment of diseases. They do their best to make sure our workers can go back to work healthy and keep on working for the good of the company and that of their families,’ says MMK Senior Manager for Social Programs Yegor Kozhayev.
