PNTZ Gets Environmental Management System Internationally Certified

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 25, 2018. ChTPZ Group’s Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) had its environmental management system certified in accordance with the international ISO 14001:2015 standard requirements, the Group’s press service reports.
The certification procedure was carried out by TUV Rheinland.
Upon the completion of the audit, the certification body confirmed that PNTZ’s environmental management system met all the strict standards and that the plant introduced all the new regulations at its production sites successfully. The new certificate is now valid for the next three years.
‘Getting certified for compliance with the ISO 14001:2015 standards is obligatory for any supplier who wants to sell its produce abroad. The audit procedure involved checking compliance with the pipe and steel production standards and making sure the company met all the legislative norms in the field of environmental protection. At the end of the checks, its was confirmed the plant is quite efficient at handling environmental safety issues,’ says PNTZ Managing Director Alexei Dronov.
ChTPZ Group incorporated environmental management systems into all of its business processes in full compliance with the latest version of the ISO 14001:2015. Moreover, the company sees to it that all of its contractors also comply with the existing environmental laws.
