Russian Copper Company, 3M Russia Sign Job Safety Agreement

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 26, 2017. Russian Copper Company is going to implement a large-scale action plan next year intended to prevent occupational health hazards and accidents at work, the company press service reports.
To make this possible, the company signed a job safety cooperation agreement with 3M Russia for the year 2018. The paper was signed during the corporate job safety conference attended by Russian Copper Company Group’s job safety experts. The conference covered a report on the experts’ performance in 2017 and a roadmap for the year 2018 that included projects to improve life and health safety of the Group’s workers employed at the Group’s various member enterprises.
3M Russia’s representatives also made a report on the results of the Group’s audit that was carried out in the fall. The report focused both on the specifics of every production department and the growth points they all had in common, such as the need to select the workers’ individual protective gear more efficiently and to make sure the staff comply with the gear-use rules at work.
