UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 11, 2017. ChTPZ Group’s Future of White Metallurgy Corporate Training Program won the first prize in the National Professional Qualifications Development Agency’s Best Blue-Collar Job Training Practices 2017 Contest (category: We Are Partners).

According to the company press service, the awarding ceremony took place during the 3d All-Russian National Professional Qualifications System Forum in Moscow; the forum is coordinated with support from the Presidential National Council for Professional Qualifications.

‘ChTPZ Group created the public-private cadre training partnership mechanisms that are innovative to the Russian environment,’ says the Group’s HR Director Svetlana Kuzminykh.

‘We reformed our corporate mentor system, got our methodological premises completely renewed, and reconsidered our approach to needs planning and personnel induction. The six years the program has been around for have resulted in 545 qualified ‘white metallurgists’, most of whom now work for the Group,’ she says.

‘I congratulate ChTPZ Group on this victory! I believe the next steps are to promote the company’s dual education expertise among other employers on the one hand and to introduce an independent qualification test for students at the end of their program on the other. Given the current positive changes in the tax legislation, this would increase the number of students and provide the labor market with young workers with employer-confirmed qualifications,’ the National Professional Qualifications Development Agency’s Director-General Alexander Leybovitch said at the ceremony.
