UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 20, 2017. Oleg Ivanchuk’s team from EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Section 19 set a production record in mining work: they worked through 624 meters of mine openings in just one month, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s corporate relations center reports.

Raspadskaya Coal Company’s management awarded Oleg Ivanchuk with a new automobile in the course of a solemn ceremony.

‘I am happy to see the company has been increasing its mining work output, which improves the business’s overall performance. We hope Raspadskaya Coal Company’s member enterprises will meet the target figures for this year (87 km worth of mine openings). The company team has shown that good organization of labor and clever redistribution of labor resources produces great results. The important thing is to keep up with the tempo now,’ says Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Director-General Sergey Stepanov.

Oleg Ivanchuk’s team is now working in Airway 4-6-37 (Section 6-6a) that got launched in late September. There are nearly 1,800 meters left, all of which will have to get covered with a 12СМ30 Bolter Miner and a self-withdrawing end section of a belt conveyor that delivers coal onto the primary conveyors. Raspadskaya miners get through 300 to 350 meters of mine openings a month on average.
