UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 10, 2017. Representatives of foreign diplomatic missions spoke very highly of Yekaterinburg Arena, one of the stadiums to host the world football championship next year, Sinara Group’s PR Center reports.

The Group’s Director-General Mikhail Khodorovsky and Deputy Head of Yekaterinburg Council Sergey Tushin coordinated a guided tour of the stadium (currently under reconstruction) for the officials from local diplomatic missions and consulates of Italy, Germany, the UK & Northern Ireland, the US, France, China, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Bulgaria, and Azerbaijan. The diplomats could take a look at the site and the stadium (which is by now 90% complete).

Khodorkovsky showed the visitors the restored historic architectural pieces of the stadium, the temporary spectator stands, the so-called sky boxes, the mixed zone, the press room, and the teams’ lockers and rooms. The builders are currently working on the startup and commissioning of the outer lighting fixtures. According to the schedule, the fixtures should get launched before the end of the month. As for the surrounding territory, benches and trash bins are being installed there at the moment.

The diplomats left impressed with the scale and the highly modern look of the project and with how much progress had been made in terms of reconstruction.
