The carrier has more LTE base stations than any other company, with the overall number up by 39% in the nine months of this year (60,000 all in all). LTE base stations make up 44% of all newly built infrastructure facilities this year,’ the press service says.

Every one in six MegaFon new-generation base stations got installed in the Greater Urals. The company’s 4G network now covers 396 towns and cities and is available to 83% of locals.

‘MegaFon Ural handles 400m Mb worth of traffic daily. The traffic amount keeps rising, as does the people’s wish to enjoy ever greater downloading speed.
