Chepetsk Mechanical Plant Offers Scholarships for UFU Students

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 9, 2017. Rosatom TVEL’s Glazov-based asset, Chepetsk Mechanical Plant (ChMZ) introduced a scholarship program for the talented students of Ural Federal University with some support from Rosatom State Corporation, the company press service reports.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the plant and the university during Rosatom Career Day in Yekaterinburg on November 7, 2017. The paper was signed by Chepetsk Mechanical Plant’s Director-General Denis Anischuk and Executive Director of Ural Federal University Development Fund Daniil Sandler. The ceremony was also attended by Rosatom’s Director-General Alexei Likhachev and Rector of Ural Federal University Viktor Koksharov.

‘Rosatom, TVEL, and Chepetsk Mechanical Plant’s joint strategy is aimed at developing new projects and workers’ skills. For this, highly skilled and trained staff is essential. From the moment they get enrolled, our students get focused on the complex and interesting projects and innovative production activity at the plant,’ Anischuk said.

The scholarship program takes off next year already.
