7 November 2017 (09:52)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 7, 2017. ChTPZ Group’s White Metallurgists are going to take part in the 4th blue-collar job championship WorldSkills Hi Tech in Yekaterinburg EXPO on November 3-7, 2017, the company press service reports.
Seven highly skilled workers from the Group’s pipe-manufacturing and oilfield services divisions will compete in six different categories.
‘ChTPZ Group was one of Russia’s first companies to join the WorldSkills movement as soon as Russia was officially in it. The company team took part in all the WorldSkills Hi Tech contests and typically won a good number of medals in different categories. Competing in WorldSkills and WorldSkills Hi Tech championships helps our workers improve their skills of operating innovative equipment,’ says ChTPZ Group’s HR Director Svetlana Kuzminykh.
The Group’s team will now compete in NC Turning, Mecatronics, Welding, Electric Wiring, NC Milling, and Prototyping. In addition to these challenges, the company representatives will also contribute to the event’s business agenda: they will share their experience of applying WorldSkills standards in their corporate training environment and will present a report at the WorldSkills Eurasia’s Industrial Council’s plenary session.
