UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 18, 2017. Over two hundred participants of the 19th World Youth & Student Festival went on a tour of Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) Finishing Center, where oil country tubular goods are made, and the plant’s Training Center. PNTZ is part of ChTPZ Group, the company press service reports.

These tours of the Group’s production and education facilities for students and volunteers from more than seventy different countries are part of the festival’s local agenda.

‘Every year, both Russian scientists and celebrities and foreign delegations come to the Group’s Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant. We are happy to see this interest in our production sites and to see how popular they are with industrial tourists,’ says PNTZ Managing Director Alexei Dronov.

During their visit to the Group’s Training Center, students and volunteers had a chance to see the plant’s experimental site with innovative metallurgical equipment: imported mill simulators, labs with all sorts of wiring, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic appliances, and pipe-rolling mill simulators.
