Yekaterinburg Customs Directs RUR 17bn to National Budget

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 9, 2017. Yekaterinburg Customs directed over RUR 17bn to the Russian budget in the nine months of 2017, including RUR 7.5bn transferred in the third quarter of the year.
According to the authority’s press service, more than 4,800,000,000 kg of goods worth over $6.6bn got declared at their customs points in January-September 2017.
The number of importers/exporters reached 1,800 legal entities, which exceeded the figures for a year earlier by 13%.
60,000+ cargo manifests got issued at customs points, up 12% on a year earlier for export manifests and up 38% for import ones. 59% of all cargo manifests got registered automatically.
Also, 12 criminal lawsuits and 749 administrative lawsuits were instituted by the customs authorities in the nine months of the year.
