UrBC, Chelyabinsk, September 26, 2017. The final rounds of Metroshka 2017, a children’s amateur football championship, were held in Chelyabinsk; the event was coordinated by Russian Copper Company.

Loko-Olimp from Kartaly and Torpedo from Shadrinsk made it to the finals in the older children’s group, with the Kartaly team beating Torpedo 4:1. Sergey Kondrashov from Loko-Olimp also proved Best Player in his age group and got a crystal trophy cup.
Russian Copper Company’s team from Korkino and Raduga from Kartaly competed in the junior group. The Kartaly team won once again, with the crystal trophy cup going to Best Player Artem Kovrin from Raduga.
In addition to this year’s trophy cups, the teams from Loko-Olimp and Raduga got gift certificates to get professional football uniform and equipment for the entire team. Russian Copper Company, the general sponsor of the event, had a special prize for Metroshka’s champion: both winning teams will take a trip to one of Russian Premier League’s football club’s premises this fall.
